Executive with experience across businesses, impact investment, agriculture, life sciences, CSR and sustainability. He is focused on identifying opportunities and leading teams to address them. Bruno is the current Director at Peru Opportunity Fund, former Country Manager in Peru at the Clinton Foundation, former Community Relations Officer at Southern Copper Corporation, among others


Gina Ruiz Caro Rothgiesser
Program Officer / Peruvian Representative

A native of Cusco, Peru, Gina has more than twelve years of experience in the nonprofit field.  She previously worked for the NGO Cáritas del Perú, developing and managing alternative development projects. As an independent consultant, she has formulated comprehensive development projects for various international aid organizations in the Amazonas, Lambayeque, Loreto, Junín, San Martín and Cusco regions and has worked with both regional and local governments. She holds a master’s degree in management and administration from the University of Alicante (Spain), Diploma in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of the Pacific (Peru), and a bachelor’s degree in law and political science from Inca Garcilaso de la Vega University. In addition to her work with Peru Opportunity Fund, Gina is a corporate social responsibility lecturer at the University of Lima.


Nelson Torres Balarezo
Credit and Finance Advisor

Nelson graduated from the Universidad de Piura with a degree in industrial engineering and holds a master's degree in social management from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in public administration at the Universidad de San Martín de Porres. Nelson has over fifteen years’ experience working in both private and public entities. He has experience in finance as well as management of private companies, public entities and agricultural enterprises. He has worked on development of value chains and in rural microfinance. He has a deep understanding of the rural sector, opportunities for development, economic articulation and rural associative models.
